Poor little Belle has really had a rough time of it. She was a stray someone found on running loose on Hwy 94. We discovered she was microchipped and called her family, however their phone number was no longer active. Their vet's name was attainable. He indicated that the last time she was in, she had a large tumor on her back end and recommended it be removed, but her owners didn't bring her back. We immediately had her in surgery, the tumor is now gone along with most of her teeth! She was also suffering from a bad dental infection. Belle is now fixed up and ready for a safe forever home. She is a sweet, affectionate little girl. Please don't let her age of 9, deter you. The fact that her health problema have been resolved and she is a toy breed give her a chance at being around another 9 years! Her adoption fee is $101, which almost covers what the shelter paid for just her spay. If you are not able to adopt Belle any help with her vet bills wouuld be greatly appreciated.
